Secrets of Size: Atoms to Supergalaxies

Secrets of Size: Atoms to Supergalaxies is a science documentary two part mini-series that explores the concept of size in the universe. Professor Jim Al-Khalili investigates the universe across its vast range of sizes, ranging from the tiniest objects measuring just a few atoms, to vast structures consisting of hundreds of thousands of interconnected galaxies. Through stunning visuals and expert commentary, the series explains the physical properties of matter and how size affects the behaviour of particles and structures. To illustrate the intricacies of size Fluid Pictures created a range of animated CG and composited over 40 shots using Maya, Cinema 4d and Houdini in this BBC Production for Furnace TV.
